Make Art With Us!

You have lots of options for making art with us! You can drop in and paint pottery, handbuild with clay, or paint a canvas. (Drop-in resin art and candle making coming soon!) We offer several events each month, which are one time classes and workshops, in a variety of mediums. We offer several classes that run on a weekly basis, many offering rolling enrollment throughout the month. We have two instructors that offer private lessons, and we run a wicked fun birthday party. We are also happy to create a custom event or class and we can come to you. Oh, and don’t forget about summer camp for the kids! We do a lot, and this website has lots of info. Be sure to thoroughly explore it to learn about all the different things that happen at The Art Den LLC.

We have a variety of options to choose from for Drop-In Art and can assist you in making or just provide the supplies and the space for you to make away! Drop-In hours are Mondays & Thursdays 3-8pm, Wednesday & Friday 1-8pm, and Saturdays 12-4pm. No appointment is required, but you can schedule an appointment here. (Appts. are recommended for groups of five or more, to ensure we have adequate space reserved for you.)

Drop-In Art is appropriate for all ages, even very young children love to paint pottery! You can bring small snacks and drinks to the studio, (example, individual bags of chips or cookies, apples, bananas, juice boxes, soda cans) but other foods, including hot foods, cupcakes and birthday cakes are reserved for parties and members. BYOB on events or after 6pm only.

Paint Your Own Pottery (Priced per piece, most pieces range from $17-$30)

Includes:

  • Paint your own pottery bisque pieces in a variety of styles, including mugs, banks, and figurines. All of our foodware is functional!

  • Transparent pricing - no additional studio or firing fees. Pay only the cost listed (plus tax).

  • Pieces are clear glazed and fired and ready for pick-up in one to two weeks.

  • You can pick-out PYOP to take home and paint. Cost is the price of the piece plus $1 per ounce of glaze. You can choose as many glaze colors as you want, and you will most likely have glaze leftover for your next piece.

  • If you can’t finish your piece in one sitting, you can take it home and bring it back to paint for no additional cost. We have you take it home because our space is so limited, and then neither of us have to worry about when you return. Come back the next day or the next month!

We can trim, glaze and fire your pieces for you for $5 per piece. You may not save extra clay, and more than one person may not share a wheel.
