In-Person Parties & events
We host a great party! Group size is minimum of 5 and a maximum of 25 in studio, 50 off-site. We can do canvas painting, paint-your-own-pottery, and handbuilding with clay, but are also happy to set-up a special event for a different type of project. Each of our packages utilizes a base price plus a per person price, and the base price must be paid as a deposit to book the party. Non-profit groups receive 25% off of the base price only. Families may arrive 30 minutes prior to the party to set-up, and The Art Den will provide a tablecloth, plates, cups, and plasticware for any parties serving food. All parties are BYOB and you can bring as much food as you want. We also do wheel throwing pottery parties for all ages - contact Chriztie for more info.
We schedule most parties on Saturday and Sunday outside of normal business hours. We do also have a Friday party option - keep in mind that is during normal operating hours. Looking for a time slot that doesn’t seem available? Call or text at Chriztie at 443-967-3663, we are happy to accommodate whenever we are able to do so.

in-person Packages:
Canvas Paint Party
$90 base price plus $15-20 per person. This paint event includes between 1.5 and 2 hours of studio time, step-by-step instruction with a professional artist, painting a pre-selected image (we can email you sample images, or we can create a custom image for you for an extra cost), and all painting supplies. Bringing food? We will set-up a food table for you with a plastic tablecloth, plates, napkins, and utensils at no extra cost. We handle all of the clean-up. Canvas board is $15 per person and stretched canvas is $20 per person, both on top of the $90 base price.

PYOP Paint Party
$90 base price plus $15-22 per person, we will help guests pick the perfect piece and then work with them each step of the way to create their ceramic masterpiece. Pieces will need to be fired and then picked-up 1-2 weeks later. Bringing food? We will set-up a food table for you with a plastic tablecloth, plates, napkins, and utensils at no extra cost. We handle all of the clean-up.
We have a large selection of pieces within the party price range (you can also increase the price range, just note it when you book the party). We can get the same piece for everyone to paint if you give us at least 30 days notice. Plates with pre-selected images are also great for parties, and we can use transfer paper to make it easy to copy the image.
Handbuilding Clay Project Party
$90 base price plus $20 per person. This clay event includes between 1.5 and 2 hours of studio time, step-by-step instruction with a professional ceramicist, creating a pinch, coil, or slab project of your choice (we can email you sample projects, or we can create a custom project for you for an extra cost), and all ceramic supplies, including glazing the piece. Pieces will need to be fired and then picked-up three weeks later. Bringing food? We will set-up a food table for you with a plastic tablecloth, plates, napkins, and utensils at no extra cost. We handle all of the clean-up.

DIY Paint Your Own Pottery Party
Looking to bring a group in just to paint pottery? Maybe you have older kids or adults, or you’ve all been here before and know your way around the studio. Schedule a DIY PYOP party! You will still have access to an Art Den employee to guide and help you in creating your ceramic masterpieces, and you can still bring in food and drinks, including adult beverages (but we will not set-up a seperate table for food or gifts, and you are responsible for clean-up, or at least helping to clean-up). This is essentially the same as coming for drop-in art, it just happens during off-hours. There is no base price or minimum number of painters, only a minimum pottery purchase of $200. There is a deposit price of $25 to book, which goes towards your pottery purchase. Two hours of paint time is included, or you can stay for an additional hour for an extra $20 (total, not per person). Not sure if you should book this or the PYOP guided party? Off-site Paint Parties & events
Yes, we can come to you! Off-site paint parties are a base price of $90 and $15-20 per person, which includes travel, set-up & clean-up, and a complete walk-through. We bring all of the supplies to you, and promise to run a great event that’s sure to be a good time for everyone involved. Click here to schedule an off-site party!
