Terms & Policies
-
All one-time classes and events are booked through our online scheduler (Occasion). The following policies apply to all Occasion bookings:
Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel by text at least 24 hours ahead of time to receive store credit. This gives us the opportunity to fill the class and adjust payroll and material costs. We will send you a one-time use coupon code so you can re-book another class. We do not offer refunds. If you do not cancel prior to the 24 hours, you will lose the deposit for the class. No Call No Shows will be charged for the remaining cost of the class (when applicable) and no refunds or credits will be given. Text 443-256-8409 to cancel or change your booking.
Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, The Art Den will notify registered guests via email if a class or event needs to be cancelled or rescheduled. We monitor conditions closely and will make every effort to provide advance notice. If a cancellation is made on our end, guests will receive a full credit toward a future booking.
-
Weekly classes and memberships are charged automatically on a recurring basis. The following refund policy applies to auto-charged subscriptions only:
Refunds are available if you cancel with at least 24 hours notice before your next scheduled charge date.
Classes must not have started for the current month.
Your card must have already been charged for the refund to apply.
To cancel a subscription or request a refund, please contact us at least 24 hours before your next charge date. Text or call (443) 256-8409.
Makeup Classes
Students enrolled in weekly subscription classes are entitled to makeup classes for any missed sessions. Please contact us to schedule a makeup. Makeups are subject to availability and must be used within the current enrollment period.
Membership Cancellations
You may cancel your membership at any time with no penalties. To cancel, notify The Art Den at least 24 hours before your next scheduled charge date. Your shelf must be cleared of all works in progress before your membership is cancelled to avoid being charged for an additional month.
Membership Pricing
Members are grandfathered into the price at which they originally signed up for as long as their membership remains active. If membership pricing increases, your rate will not change.
-
Party Fee
A non-refundable $25 party fee is due at the time of booking. This fee does not apply toward project costs and is forfeited upon cancellation.
Rescheduling
If you reschedule your party with more than 24 hours notice, your $25 party fee will carry over to your new date.
Cancellations
Canceling your party means forfeiting the $25 party fee. No additional cancellation fees apply. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event based on final headcount.
Minimum Spend
A $200 minimum spend applies to all parties.
-
Walk-in & Create is available during open studio hours on a first-come, first-served basis, as space permits. No advance booking is required for individuals and groups of fewer than 5. Groups of 5 or more are encouraged to book an appointment in advance.
Refunds
Walk-in projects are pay-as-you-go. Once you have selected and begun a piece, no refunds are available. If you have questions about pricing before you start, our staff is always happy to help.
-
The safety and wellbeing of our younger guests is a top priority. Please review the following policies for minors:

Minors ages 12 and older may be dropped off for Walk-in & Create, provided they have their own phone or another means of contacting a parent or guardian. Minors under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Classes & Events
Minors of any age may be dropped off for registered classes and events, provided a completed emergency contact form is on file. Emergency contact forms are collected at the time of registration or upon first visit.
Off-Hours & Key Holder Access
No minors may be present in the studio during off-hours or key holder access times under any circumstances.
-
If you or a member of your party has any known allergies or medical concerns that may be relevant to art materials — including clay dust, resin, acrylic paint, alcohol inks, or glitter — please inform a staff member before your session begins. We will do our best to accommodate your needs or suggest an alternative activity.
-
We love seeing what you create! Photography is encouraged in the studio. If you share your work on social media, please tag us — we’d love to celebrate your creativity with you.
