Walk-in & Create
No registration, no planning ahead — just show up and make something. Walk-in & Create is your open invitation to explore the studio at your own pace, pick a project that catches your eye, and create something you're proud of.
Staff is always on hand during open hours to help you get started, no matter your skill level. Walk-ins are welcome as space permits — if you're bringing a group of 5 or more, we recommend booking an appointment to make sure we're ready for you.
A heads up: canvas and resin projects go home with you the same day. Pottery, clay, and glass pieces are fired in our kiln and will be ready for pickup in 7–10 days.

Paint Your Own Pottery
Our most popular walk-in experience — and it's easy to see why. Choose a piece from our wide selection, pick your colors, and paint at your own pace. No experience needed. If you can hold a brush, you can paint pottery!
Pieces are glazed and fired right here in our studio, so what you see when you're done painting isn't quite the finished product — glazing transforms the colors during firing, and the result is always worth the wait. Your piece will be food safe and ready for pickup in 7–10 days.
Popular picks include animal figurines, mugs, plates, and bowls. Pieces start at $15 for small figurines, with most falling between $23–$38. We also carry statement pieces up to $120 for those who want a bigger canvas.
All prices are all-inclusive — glazing, firing, and tax are built in. No surprises at checkout.
Sessions are self-paced and all ages are welcome. Little ones can finish in under an hour, while adults sometimes spread across two visits — at no extra charge.
Handbuilding with Clay
Get your hands dirty — literally. Handbuilding is open-ended creative freedom with clay. Build whatever you want from scratch, or use one of our project examples for inspiration. No experience necessary, just a willingness to experiment.
A session typically takes one to two hours, and the experience is actually two visits in one. On your first visit you build and shape your piece. Within two weeks it will be bisque-fired, and we'll text you when it's ready. You then have 30 days to return and glaze it at no extra charge — after which it's fired a second time to bring out the final color and finish. Your completed piece will be ready for pickup 7–10 days after glazing.
Each session includes one unit of clay (approximately 1.25 lbs) for $30, with additional units available for $7 if you want to go bigger. Clay cannot be shared between guests, and unused clay cannot be saved for a future visit.
All prices are all-inclusive — firing, glazing, and tax are built in.
Recommended for ages 7 and up.
Wheel Throwing
There's nothing quite like throwing clay on the wheel — but fair warning: it's harder than it looks. Wheel throwing during open studio is best suited for those who have some experience and can work independently. If you're brand new to the wheel, we'd hate for your first experience to be a frustrating one — our Intro to Wheel Throwing class is the perfect starting point and will set you up for success. Book an Intro Class →
For those ready to practice and play, open studio wheel time follows the same process as handbuilding — you throw on your first visit, we bisque-fire your piece within two weeks and text you when it's ready, then you return within 30 days to glaze at no extra charge. Your finished piece is ready for pickup 7–10 days after glazing.
Wheel time is $30 per unit of clay (approximately 1.25 lbs), with additional units at $7 each. Plan on using at least two units for a full session. Clay cannot be shared or saved for future visits. All prices are all-inclusive — firing, glazing, and tax are built in.
Book an Appointment → — appointments are recommended to ensure a wheel is available. Best for adults and teens — kids interested in the wheel are encouraged to enroll in a class instead.
Resin Suncatchers
Pick a pattern, arrange your glass, and take it home the same day. Resin suncatchers are one of our most satisfying walk-in experiences — beautiful, unique, and ready to hang in a window before the day is done.
Choose from a variety of 3D laser-cut patterns and fill them with terrazzo glass pieces in whatever arrangement catches your eye. Want to add some extra personality? Customize your colors with mica powder, alcohol ink, or glitter. Once your design is set, resin is poured over the top to lock everything in place. We use UV resin so your piece cures quickly and goes home with you the same day.
Suncatchers are available in two sizes:
6 inch — $25
12 inch — $50
All ages welcome. For younger artists (under 10), our staff will handle the resin pour — everything else is all theirs.
Canvas Painting
Pick up a brush and paint. Canvas painting is our most budget-friendly walk-in option and one of the easiest ways to walk in and walk out with something you made yourself.
Choose from our selection of pre-drawn canvases — leftover from parties and events — for a fun guided starting point, or grab a blank canvas and go wherever your imagination takes you. We use high quality acrylic paint in a wide range of colors, so your finished piece will look great on any wall.
Canvas paintings go home with you the same day. All ages welcome — just be warned, acrylic paint stains, so dress accordingly!
$20 per canvas, all-inclusive.
